My husband and I purchased our palapa one year ago and I must say it has been one of the best purchases we have made. First we started out small and ended up with a 10’ x 12’ four pole palapa….. we totally love this. It adds so much to our back yard and all our friends ask so many questions about it the first time they see it… everyone is always in such awe. Our goal is to build a bar that will hold our BBQ and refrigerator. This will allow a lot of extra sitting area around the pool….and of course I’m sure my husband will be mounting his TV in there somehow! This will be his man palapa! Working with the guys from The Palapa Guy, they were awesome, so easy to work with, very accommodating and everything turned out just perfect…exactly like we wanted it. We had visited Rubio’s several times and always ate under the palapa there. Finally we just took the leap and put one in our own back yard and now we have our own piece of tropical paradise!
